Burton Blatt Institute at Syracuse University

Vocational Training for Adults with Developmental Disabilities

TVI has had the pleasure of working with The Burton Blatt Institute to arrange technical visits related to the institute’s important work in advocating and promoting the advancement of people with disabilities in society. The Burton Blatt Institute, established at Syracuse University in 2005, is an organization that aims to advance civic, economic, and social participation of persons with disabilities in a global society. BBI builds on the legacy of Burton Blatt, former dean of SU’s School of Education and a pioneering disability rights scholar, to better the lives of people with disabilities. BBI has offices in Syracuse, Washington, DC, and Atlanta.
